The book, "Social Re-engineering in Politics," stems from a letter by a former Attorney General of Canada after he received a research paper called “Abusers-A Change in Focus.” The Attorney-General acknowledged receipt of the document and the government’s use of a “social re-engineering policy.”

 

Trump described social re-engineering during a 2024 rally. He described it as a government having control over every part of your lives - jobs, speech, education, and even health care. "It's about power—it's about social re-engineering—forcing you into a system where the government makes the rules, not you."

 

Social re-engineering as opposed to political influence? The differences are remarkable. 

 

The most obvious application of the policy was in the decision to cripple Canada's oil and gas industry at the expense of all Canadians. The Liberal government made those rules, not you.
